We have updated the following Policies pages as of November 1, 2022:
Among these changes, you will notice the following updates:
- Price changes made on our platform may take up to 24 hours to become effective. This change was necessary due to certain aspects of how product changes made through the MoreCommerce platform flow across listings on the 3rd party marketplace accounts in our network. To avoid situations where order prices may be out of sync with those set on our platform, any time you update the price of a product, you may continue to be paid based on the previous price for up to 24 hours while the price change propagates across all sales channels.
- The standard return window for our own marketplaces has been updated from 14 to 30 days. In order to remain competitive with major online marketplaces and other retailers, we have changed the standard return window for orders placed through OpenSky. Dot & Bo and 11 Main (as well as any other marketplaces we may launch) to 30 days. This should not represent a significant change for most merchants because MoreCommerce orders originating from 3rd party marketplaces already had longer return windows for quite some time.
- We have clarified our policy regarding misleading categorization and the misuse of our customized/personalized/made to order setting. We have added some additional language to our policies to specifically confirm that intentionally placing products in misleading categories and inappropriately indicating products are customized, personalized or made to order is not allowed. Providing inaccurate information in these areas can cause a variety of operational problems and, while we understand mistakes happen, if they are not corrected, violations of this policy may lead to further action against your account up to and including termination.
