Once you've created and/or imported products into your account, you'll want to arrange them to spotlight new arrivals, best sellers and special promotions. You can do this by sorting your products and you can sort, and re-sort your items as often as you'd like.
Your First 10 Are Special
Before you start, keep in mind that your first 10 products (i.e., the 10 items that appear at the top of your store) are the default products our Marketing Teams may use if your products are included in any on- or off-site placements and promotions.
Because of this you’ll want to fill your top 10 slots with products that have great photos, large inventories, good prices, and/or are seasonally appropriate.
How to Sort
You can sort your products in 5 ways:
Auto Sort: If you'd like for us to sort your products for you, click "Apply Auto Sort" in the upper right of your "Products" page.
This will instantly rearrange your products based on the likelihood of a sale taking into account our analysis of hundreds of thousands of orders. You can undo Auto Sort by clicking "Undo Auto Sort" on the same page at any time.
Bulk Edit: To sort multiple products at once, use your Bulk Edit tool. Simply click the "Download Full Product File" button on your "Bulk Edit" page and enter the placement where you'd like each item to appear under the "Storefront Placement" heading.
For instance, enter "1" (without the quotes) for the product you'd like to appear first in your store. Enter "2" (without the quotes) for the item you'd like to appear second in your store and so on. Next, save your file and reimport it into the site.
Drag-and-Drop: Click and hold the "handles" to the right of each product to drag it to the desired position.
Arrows: Click on the up or down arrow to move the listing up or down one position.
Sort Field: Enter the appropriate position where you’d like the product to appear in your store and then click out of the box. For instance, enter “1” (without the quotes) for the item you’d like to appear first in your store. Enter “2” (without the quotes) for the product you’d like to appear second in your store and so on. The listing will assume that position automatically; you do not need to save the settings.
